Acceptable Use Policy

This policy explains what is and is not allowed on PocketVendor and how we respond to misuse.

1. Platform rules

PocketVendor must be used lawfully, honestly, and in a way that does not harm sellers, customers, staff, or the platform.

2. Illegal or harmful activity

You must not use PocketVendor to offer, request, promote, arrange, or support illegal goods, illegal services, fraud, exploitation, violence, or other harmful conduct.

3. Fraud and impersonation

  • Do not impersonate another person, seller, employee, or organisation.
  • Do not create fake businesses, bookings, payment confirmations, or staff identities.
  • Do not use PocketVendor to deceive customers or sellers.

4. Payment abuse

Customers must not falsely claim to have paid. Sellers must not use misleading payment instructions or falsely claim that payment has not been received.

PocketVendor may investigate patterns of suspected payment abuse and restrict access where necessary.

5. Spam, harassment, and abusive content

Do not send spam, threats, discriminatory content, harassment, or repeated unwanted messages through PocketVendor.

6. Platform security

Do not attempt to bypass security, access another user’s account, interfere with availability, scrape protected data, test vulnerabilities without permission, or introduce malicious code.

7. Enforcement

PocketVendor may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, preserve evidence, or contact relevant authorities where appropriate.

The response will depend on the seriousness, context, and risk of the conduct.

8. Reporting concerns

Suspected misuse, fake staff identities, fraud, or safety concerns can be reported to help@pocketvendor.app.

Include relevant booking links, staff IDs, screenshots, or other details where available.
